The Pre-Independence governance through the then existing feudal system fell short to match the aspirations of people & the development of the nation. Hence, post-independence a democratic set up, with mainstay of development lying with public vis-a-vis private organizations was conceptualized. Development of society requires, Heavy industrialization & fast growing economy with national & multinational firms. At the sametime, the Indian society also faces social challenges of illiteracy and lack of technical experts. To cope-up with these challenges, so many education societies & institutions came forward with their best effort to make Indian society literate.
No longer do we advocate liberal education for the cultivation of mind, on the other hand, there is a clamor for technical education or training that can be put to some practical use, both in fields and factories offices & consultancy services with almost every aspect of our life coming under the direct influence or impact of science & technology. There is an urgent need to make our educational system compatible and complementary to the needs of the society. This can be achieved by making our education creative, goal oriented rather than rote learning.
Ours Black Diamond Technical Education Society is one in the field of imparting High Quality, compatible Technical Education, situated in the district of Jharsuguda, under Sambalpur region in the state of Orissa, the holy land of LORD JAGANNATH & MAA SAMLESWARI, whose soil is full of mines & minerals and the region Sambalpur as a whole & Jharsuguda as particular is full of small & large industries.
Having two decayed of experience in the field of education by successfully managing the Black Diamond Group of Education starting from Nursery Level to Secondary & Senior Secondary Level in general education & Industrial Training Institute as well as School of Engineering at Brajrajnagar and "Black Diamond College of Engineering & Technology" started during the session 2008 - 2009 at Jharsuguda with ultra modern facilities, excellent infra-structure, unique hostels for boys and girls inside the campu
